ADIA VOICES?
Adia Voices is a singing school for young people who are passionate about singing and ready to take their voice and performance skills to the next level.
Our courses combine group rehearsals, with just 6–10 singers in each group, and one-to-one vocal coaching. Together, these sessions help each singer develop their technique, confidence and stage presence while preparing for a live show at a local theatre.
Every course has its own theme and musical genre, giving singers the opportunity to explore different styles of music, develop as performers and discover what makes their own voice unique.
FOR WHO?
Our singers are aged six and above, and while they each bring their own personality and style, they all share a genuine love of music and a passion for singing.
They are part of a warm, supportive group where singers encourage one another, learn together and grow in confidence. They can hold a tune, are excited to develop new vocal and performance skills, and are willing to do something brave: step onto the stage and perform.
At Adia Voices, we celebrate that courage just as much as the singing itself.
my child is shy but has a beautiful voice, can they still join?
Absolutely. Many of our singers arrive feeling shy, nervous or unsure of themselves on stage. Our courses are carefully designed to build confidence gradually, giving each singer the time, encouragement and support they need to grow at their own pace.
For some, their first performance may simply mean stepping onto the stage as part of a group. By the next show, that same singer may feel ready to perform an entire song on their own. Every journey is different, and we never ask a singer to do more than they feel ready for.
At Adia Voices, we create a supportive, inspiring environment where young singers feel safe to explore their voice, develop their performance skills and grow in confidence. Our aim is not simply to get children onto the stage, but to help them reach the point where they genuinely feel ready, excited and proud to be there.
MORE ABOUT THE COURSE
Adia Voices is for singers aged 7-16, who love to sing. The course includes:
Group rehearsals
1:1 singing lessons (30min each)
Show day in the local venue
Rehearsals and lessons
Rehearsals and lessons are spread over few months, designed to fit well around busy family schedules. All the sheet music and materials are included. Singers are split to two different groups, Songbirds (ages 6-10) and Singers (ages 10-16).
Show
The show will be held in a venue in St Albans in front of an audience of friendly faces, including family and friends. Each singer will sing their solos and group numbers with harmonies. We’ve already had four amazing shows. Our first show Sparks in January 2025 was the beginning of it all, a lovely evening with amazing performances by our singers. The next show Out Of This World we had a setlist of songs about space and universe. A Night At The Cinema show was a huge success with over twenty performers on stage. We heard songs from the films, and it truly was the evening to remember. Our fourth show Fields Of Gold was a celebration of Folk and Country music on beautiful summer evening with our biggest group of singers yet.
Materials
The list of songs and all the materials will be given in the first session, so there’s plenty of time to listen and learn the songs. The group numbers include featured soloists, to be allocated in casting. Songs are picked for each singer to suit their voice and to go with the show theme.
Safety
All our staff is DBS checked and trained in safeguarding to ensure a safe and fun environment for your child.
Applying
Children will be selected based on their audition video and/or previous experience. To apply, please fill out the form to register you interest, and we’ll be in touch.
