• Adia Voices provides fun, inspiring and encouraging singing courses for children in and around St Albans.

We’re looking for children aged between 7 to 16 who have a passion for singing and would like to take their voice and performing to the next level. With Adia Voices, you will improve your singing in 1:1 lessons, sing harmonies as a part of a group, perform solo and group numbers in the final show in a local theatre. We give the children an opportunity to build their confidence on stage, all while singing their hearts out.

Adia Voices Course

Adia Voices is for singers aged 7-16, who love to sing. The course includes:

  • Two group rehearsals

  • Two 1:1 singing lessons (30min each)

  • Show day in the local venue

Rehearsals and the show are on Sunday afternoons spread over few months, designed to fit well around busy family schedules. All the sheet music and materials are included. Singers are split to two different groups, Songbirds (ages 7-10) and Singers (ages 10-16).

Rehearsals

In the rehearsals, we practise the group numbers and solos. Rehearsals are full of singing and having fun. Both of the rehearsals will last 2-3 hours, with a snack break in the middle.

1:1 Singing Lessons

As part of the course, we offer 1:1 guidance in singing during the group rehearsals, but also on two private singing lessons (30 minutes each). During these lessons, we’ll focus on individual techniques and preparing each child for the show.

Show

At Adia Voices we want to create a safe and fun performing environment for each singer. The show will be held in a venue in St Albans in front of an audience of friendly faces, including family and friends. Each singer will sing their solos and group numbers too. We’ve already had three amazing shows. Our first show Sparks in January 2025 was the beginning of it all, a lovely evening with amazing performances by our singers. The next show Out Of This World we had a setlist of songs about space and universe. A Night At The Cinema show was a huge success with over twenty performers on stage. We heard songs from the films, and it truly was the evening to remember. Videos from the show you can find on our Instagram @adiavoices .

Materials

The list of songs and all the materials will be given in the first session, so there’s plenty of time to listen and learn the songs. The group numbers include featured soloists, to be allocated in casting. Songs are picked for each singer to suit their voice and to go with the show theme.

Safety

All our staff is DBS checked and trained in safeguarding to ensure a safe and fun environment for your child.

Cost

The cost for the course will be £99. That includes two 1:1 singing lessons, two group rehearsals with other singers, and the show day. Sibling discount is 20%. We also have sponsored places available. Spaces for the course are limited to ensure personalised teaching and guidance throughout the course. If your child has been offered a place and you accept it, we’ll ask you to commit to attending all the rehearsals and the show.

Applying

Children will be selected based on their audition video and/or previous experience. To apply, please fill out the form below.
