Adia Voices Songbirds - course

Adia Voices Songbird Course is for singers aged 7-10, who love to sing. The course includes:

• Two group rehearsals

• Two 1:1 singing lessons (30min each)

• Show day in the local venue

Rehearsals and the show are on Sunday afternoons spread over few months, designed to fit well around busy family schedules. All the sheet music and materials are included.

Rehearsals

In the rehearsals, we practise the group numbers and solos. Rehearsals are full of singing and having fun. Both of the rehearsals will last two hours, with a snack break in the middle.

1:1 Singing Lessons

As part of the course, we offer 1:1 guidance in singing during the group rehearsals, but also on two private singing lessons (30 minutes each). During these lessons, we’ll focus on individual techniques and preparing each child for the show.

Show

At Adia Voices we want to create a safe and fun performing environment for each singer. The show will be held in a venue in St Albans in front of an audience of friendly faces, including family and friends. Each singer will sing their solos and group numbers too. Our first show Sparks in January 2025 was a huge success. In the programme, we had eight solo numbers, duets, trio, two group numbers and we also had a band that performed two pieces. For reference, we had songs from artists like Pink, Coldplay, Bastille, One Direction, Ed Sheeran and many more. Videos from the show you can find on our Instagram @adiavoices . 

Materials

The list of songs and all the materials will be given in the first session, so there’s plenty of time to listen and learn the songs. The group numbers include featured soloists, to be allocated in casting. Songs are a mix of pop, rock and musical theatre pieces.

Safety

All our staff is DBS checked and trained in safeguarding to ensure a safe and fun environment for your child.

Cost

Adia Voices Songbirds Course costs £79. This includes two group rehearsals, two 1:1 singing lessons and a show day. Spaces for the course are limited to ensure personalised teaching and guidance throughout the course. If your child has been offered a place and you accept it, we’ll ask you to commit to attending all the rehearsals and the show. 

Applying

Children will be selected based on their audition video and/or previous experience. To apply, please fill out the form below and include a 60-90 second video of your child singing their chosen song a cappella or along a karaoke/instrumental backing track.
